Nordic Wind Festival is searching for passionate wind ensembles to join the Nordic Wind Competition 2023. NWC is open to all Wind Quintets and Brass Quintets with a nordic connection and with an upper age limit of 26 years as an average age for the group. The winners will be Nordic Wind Artists in Residence 2023-2025 with several concerts, fees and costs covered.

The First Round will be carried out as a video selection, based on which only the chosen semifinalists will be invited to the Nordic Wind Festival in Oslo, in November 2023. The Semi Final and Final Round will take place over two days, Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of November.

Guidelines
The video recording of the First Round’s piece should be unedited and filmed in its entirety. The piece is to be performed without cuts and the competitors should be visible throughout the video.
Use the following service providers to send the link to the video recording: YouTube or Vimeo.
The file/recording should clearly indicate the name of your ensemble, and the name of the different musicians.
